The cleaning process was tedious, but I learned a lot about the material and was able to engage more deeply with their charactoristics. This blog outlines my reflections and observations on my process with the Kina so far.

Weekly meeting with Citta #5: We talked about my progress with my ceramic printing samples. Haydn also talked me though Citta’s product design process, using their Lily side table as an example.

Weekly Citta meeting #3: This week I was excited to tell Haydn about my projects progression with my decision of exploring Kina shells and also showing the physical making I had started. We also discussed concrete and its potential with Kina and within product design.

Weekly meeting with Citta #2: Haydn and I discussed my projects direction including my personal reflections of my position. He also taught me about Citta’s way of designing and approaching material storytelling.
